One year mentorship program
This is a one-year program for newly certified BCBA/QBA/QASP/IBA professionals post your recent certification ( 0 to 5 years)
One of the biggest shifts after certification is learning how to translate theory into real-world clinical reasoning.This is a 1-year mentorship program aimed at helping you navigate the early stages of your professional journey with guidance, mentorship, and practical exposure.
The one-year mentorship program will help you transition from certification to practice, while also building confidence in applying what you have learnt.
It is akin to a fellowship program. The program is a launch pad for your goals — whether it is opening up your own place, learning how to train staff at your workplace, designing behaviour management plans, or simply learning how to navigate the practical realities of clinical work. I will guide you in the same direction.
The program also focuses heavily on ethics and the nuances of professional decision-making that come with independent practice.
You will also receive guidance on leadership, especially in areas such as staff training, supervision, and navigating workplace dynamics.
The overall aim is to support your transition from certification into thoughtful, competent, and confident independent practice. It is also aimed at providing ongoing CEUs (currently only QABA-approved CEUs) every month, so you are continuously accruing your CE credits while also continuing to learn and grow.
The program will give you exposure to areas of ABA that you may need more finesse in, or areas where you would like to reach a greater level of mastery.
Ideally, it would be great for you to come and do this program at the clinic for a more immersive learning experience. However, if your current job does not permit this option, remote mentorship is also provided.
